It is however your responsibility to ensure that your password is kept secret and changed periodically. Maintain a strong password (letters, numbers and special characters). Don’t use dictionary words, the names of your friends or relatives as passwords.

  Definition of Spam from Mail Abuse Prevention System

  An email is SPAM if:
 
  • The recipient's personal identity and context are irrelevant because the message is equally applicable to many other potential recipients; AND
  • The recipient has not verifiably granted deliberate, explicit, and still-revocable permission for it to be sent; AND
  • The transmission and reception of the message appears to the recipient to give a disproportionate benefit to the sender.
   
 

Our Commitment:

   
 
  • Select Bytes DOES NOT send out unsolicited email (UCE/Spam).
  • Select Bytes DOES NOT knowingly do business with any company that participates in sending UCE/Spam.
  • Select Bytes DOES NOT sell or exchange personal information from our opt-in lists.
   
  Emails sent using the Select Bytes system will always bear only the email address of one rceipient. No other information on any other recipient is accessible regardless of the number of messages sent.
   
  Select Bytes does not distribute or sell customers’ confidential information from our opt-in email lists.
   
  Select Bytes is strongly opposed to sending unsolicited messages. Under the terms of our Application Service Provider contract, Select Bytes will not allow a customer to use our product to distribute spam, nor allow unsolicited commercial email (UCE).

Complaint Handling

  Report spam complaints by emailing us at abuse@allmessages.com.au . You must attach a copy of the offending message including all Internet headers.
  We will preserve the content of any complaint you send us if we believe we have the legal requirement to do so.
  We investigate the complaint to validate its origin, content and scope.
   
  Where a complaint is genuine we will:
 
  • Flag the account as having a complaint against it and the details of that complaint recorded where we believe we have the legal requirement to do so; and or
  • Unsubscribe the complainant from the account where we believe we have the legal right to do so
   
  Legal action may also be initiated against the offending party in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Use.
   
  If false complaints are made Select Bytes reserves the right to commence legal action to recover any damages caused from such complaints  
   
  Where the complaint has uncovered a breakdown in policy, procedure or expectations by you, Select Bytes may amend any policy, procedure or customer interaction to rectify the problem.
